Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MatriSani IT Solutions Private Limited ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the ScanForge mobile application ("ScanForge" or the "App"). We built ScanForge to work entirely offline, so there is very little for a privacy policy to cover — but we want to be fully transparent about exactly what does and doesn't happen with your data.

Information We Do Not Collect

ScanForge does not require an account or sign-in, and does not collect, upload, or transmit any of the following:

• Documents, scans, photos, or files you create or import into the App
• Personal identifying information (name, email address, phone number)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Advertising identifiers

All document processing — scanning, merging, and compressing — takes place entirely on your device using local processing. No internet connection is required for any core feature, and no document data is ever sent to our servers or any third party, because we do not operate servers that receive this data.

Where Your Documents Are Stored

Documents you scan, import, merge, or compress in ScanForge are stored locally in your device's storage, exactly where you save them. We have no access to these files, no copy of them, and no ability to view, retrieve, or recover them. Deleting a file from your device removes it completely — we hold no backup.

Device Permissions

ScanForge may request the following permissions, used strictly for the purpose described and never for any other purpose:

• Camera: to scan physical documents directly into the App.
• Photo Library: to import existing photos and convert them into PDFs, or to save your finished PDFs.

These permissions are used solely on-device. No data accessed through these permissions is transmitted off your device.

Third-Party Services

ScanForge does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). If this changes in a future update, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before that update is released.

Children's Privacy

ScanForge does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because the App does not collect information from any user in the first place.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how ScanForge handles data — for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud backup feature — we will update this policy first and clearly describe the change, and any such feature would remain strictly optional.
